Today we find ourselves with a simple recipe to make with the children! I'm not a "fan" of cakes in general, but I admit I have a penchant for marbled cakes (yes, just because there's chocolate).
And it's also a good reason to pass on to my children the taste of pastry and to share a good time together. Although I always dread the moment my son breaks the eggs (I often find myself having to remove the shells from the sticky part of the egg).
TO MAKE THIS CAKE YOU WILL NEED
200 gr dark chocolate
4 eggs
100 gr flour ( +1 tablespoon for the mould)
100 gr butter ( +1 nut for the mould)
60 g powdered sugar
1 tablespoon liquid vanilla (or sachet of vanilla sugar)
1 sachet of baking powder
PREPARATION
Preheat your Th7 oven ( 200°C).
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan with a little water.
In a bowl, combine the eggs and sugar.
Add flour, melted butter and yeast.
Separate the dough in two bowls. In one half, pour the melted chocolate and in the second half add the vanilla.
cake
In a buttered and floured cake pan, alternate the layers of dough.
Bake in your oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil if necessary.
We didn't have a perfect marbled effect because the chocolate paste was a little more important than the vanilla paste. The result in the mouth is delicious, that's the main thing and it's the children who made it... it's all the better!
